Automated Manufacturing Department:

The Automated Manufacturing Department has gained support from MULTISOFT ROBOTIQUE
(INTELYS) and Schneider (Thailand) in terms of laboratories, grants for training and staff development.
Assisted by the partner organization Schneider (Thailand), the department becomes successful in
setting up the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Laboratory, the Computerized Numerical Control
(CNC) Laboratory and the Automated Manufacturing and Energy Conservation Laboratory. All these labs

provide services and deliver long-term sustainable training support to personnel in academic and industrial settings. Additionally, the Department is engaged with consulting services and creating academic networks with multiple public-private agencies, such as the Institute for Skill Development Region 4 and the Provincial WaterworksAuthority.

The department, in collaboration with InstitutNational Polytechnique de Grenoble (INP Grenoble), École NationaleSupérieure de GénieIndustriel (ENSGI) have conducted research involving management systems in industrial manufacturing and operated exchange programs for Thai and French researchers.
