opening ceremony for IWE and IWIP

Thai-French Innovation Institute (TFII) had an opening ceremony for International Welding Engineer (IWE) and International Welding Inspection Personnel (IWIP) on 30th May 2016 at 9.00 a.m. in a conference room 703. There were five participants from France and Sudan for the IWE course and five participants for the IWIP course. The objectives are to develop welding personnel for advanced welding tasks and prepare welding personnel for AEC and internationally. IF the participants pass the examination of International Welding Engineer (IWE) and International Welding Inspection Personnel (IWIP), they will obtain a certificate approved by the International Institute of Welding (IIW) which is accepted in the European Common Market and Internationally. Also they are able to work and control welding tasks in a factory, i.e.design, quality assurance of steel welding structure, bridge structure, and production industry related to welding tasks. The courses are from 30th May to 16th September 2016 (IWE) and from 30th May to 5th August 2016 (IWIP) at Thai-French Innovation Institute.

Highly honored on this special opportunity, Asst.Prof.Dr.Wattana Kaewmanee, Director of Thai-French Innovation Institute welcomed everyone and opened the training course. Later, Asst.Prof.Dr.Panarit Sethakul, Dean of Faculty of Technical Education introduced King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Thai-French Innovation Institute, and Welding Institute of Thailand to the participants.
