Thai-French Innovation Institute was established in 1990 through an academic collaboration between King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok and various public and private educational institutions in France. Our core mission is to facilitate the transfer of engineering knowledge and advanced technology from international sources to Thailand’s industrial sector, as well as to university faculty and students, through rigorous research, training programs, and adherence to global standards.
Aligned with our commitment to fostering innovation and technological advancement, we actively engage in partnerships with both local and international industries, striving to enhance the capabilities of human resources within the industrial and educational realms. Accredited by the Welding Institute of Thailand (WIT) and recognized in 70 countries worldwide by the International Institute of Welding (IIW), we offer comprehensive training in diverse welding engineering disciplines. Moreover, our initiatives in technology research, particularly in corrosion prevention, involve collaboration with esteemed global entities such as PTTEP and TOTAL E&P Thailand.
