International Standard Certification
KMUTNB’s first international standard management systems and testing laboratory
Thai-French Innovation Institute recognizes the importance of providing professional services to customers and gaining international acceptance. Therefore, the institute has implemented the ISO 9001 quality management system for operational management. The laboratories have received certification for their testing capabilities according to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Additionally, the institute is acknowledged as a certified unit by the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and is the first Approved Training Body (ATB) in Thailand. This certification is supervised by the Welding Institute of Thailand (WIT), and the institute operates in compliance with ISO 17024 standards.

ISO 9001:2015
Thai-French Innovation Institute at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok is dedicated to consistently creating and developing the quality of academic services for the community. Since 2542 B.E. (1999), the institute has implemented the ISO 9001 international standard for quality management. Currently, it holds the ISO 9001:2015 certification valid from March 27, 2561 B.E. (2018), to March 28, 2567 (2024). The scope of the quality management system covers academic services, training, research, testing, consulting, and design and production. The institute’s quality policy is to be a global leader in academic services and technology research. The institute follows established regulations for operations, maintaining the quality system, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Operation of testing laboratories that are certified by ISO/IEC 17025:2005
The Thai-French Innovation Institute has been certified for the laboratory testing capability according to the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard, with certification number 0374, issued by the Bureau of Industrial Standards, Ministry of Industry, on May 15, 2557 B.E. (2014). The certification covers the field of civil engineering for the testing of chemical composition in material mixtures, following the ASTM E415:2008 standard. Currently, the institute is in the process of transitioning its standards to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.
