Operational Activities of Research, Development and Technological Transfer
The Research, Development, and Technology Transfer Division was established through the collaboration between King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok and various private companies, both domestic and international, including Ekarat Solar Cell Company and Université de Lorraine. This division conducts joint research with the Groupe de Recherche en Électrotechnique et Électronique de Nancy (Laboratoire GREEN) to establish the Renewable Energy Research Center (RERC). The center focuses on research related to renewable energy and energy management, with published works in academic conferences and journals at both national and international levels. It also serves as a laboratory for teaching in the Dual Degree Program in Electrical and Energy Engineering, a collaboration between Université de Lorraine and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.
In addition, the center provides laboratory services for students interested in research related to renewable energy, such as fuel cells, solar energy, wind energy, and the management of renewable energy using advanced energy storage devices.
