Operational Activities of Welding Technology

                  The Welding Technology Department has received support from the L’AIR LIQUIDE Group in terms of machinery and equipment, training funds, and the development of personnel to transfer technology. This is done through training sessions organized in collaboration with the Institut de Soudure, aiming to produce welding engineers and welding technologists for the Thai industrial sector. In 2001, the Welding Technology Department was accredited by the Welding Institute of Thailand (WIT) to offer training in welding engineering programs at various levels, in accordance with the standards of the International Institute of Welding (IIW), which has 70 member countries worldwide and is internationally recognized. The programs include International Welding Engineer, International Welding Specialist, International Welding Practitioner, International Welding Inspector, and International Welder courses. Additionally, there are non-destructive testing courses, such as high-frequency ultrasonic testing, based on ISO 9712 standards. The department also provides testing, inspection, and calibration services, as well as consulting services and the preparation of certification documentation for quality management systems in welding.
